The very first thing I ever made Harold was a grilled cheese sandwich. Golden, delicious and gooey? No! More like smoking black chunks of charcoal. Of course he ate them without complaining and the recipe for love was there forever!

Over the years, I got better at making grilled cheese sandwiches. But I don't make the best grilled cheese. My sister Wanda, however, she knows how to really make a grilled cheese! And it's no secret that Harold prefers hers to mine. That's ok. I prefer hers to mine also!

There are so many different methods to making grilled cheese, many variations with flavors reaching as far as the kind of cheese you decide to use. There's no recipe with this post. With this one comes a request.

How do you make your favorite grilled cheese sandwich? Do you grill it in butter? What kind of cheese makes it best? Share with me your method of making grilled cheese and we will make you a featured post in the future!
